What Does It Mean to Be an HITV Volun-DEER?

It is our cute and festive name for the amazing community members who sign up to help out and volunteer at this year’s Holidays in the Village event.

Anyone with time and interest in being involved can sign up to learn more. Those with specific skills and an interest in being even more involved may have an opportunity to become a Volun-DEER Coordinator. More information on those roles will follow.

For this event we need all hands on deck. Some examples of what volunteers help support include:
Making and serving European food and drinks
Helping run Kris Kringle Village
Supporting vendor booths
Taking tickets for holiday attractions
Taking photos and videos for social media
Directing traffic and supporting crowd safety
Helping with setup, takedown and decorations
And so much more
